Visa-free travel to Belarus for 2nd European games 2019

From June 21 to June 30, 2019, the Republic of Belarus is the host of the 2nd European Games – international multi-sport competitions among athletes of the European continent, which are held every four years under the direction of the European Olympic Committees.

Within the 2nd European Games, competitions will be held in 15 sports, 10 of which will become qualifying to the Olympic Games 2020 in Tokyo.

Nationals of 74 countries (including Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore) who have tickets to sporting events of the 2nd European games 2019 may enter Belarus visa-free from 10 June till 10 July 2019. Nationals of not-listed countries may get visa in the Embassy of Belarus in Indonesia on the basis of tickets for the events.

Participants, officials and organizers of the games, other specialists may enter Belarus visa-free from 20 May till 10 July 2019 on the basis of accreditation cards.

To enter Belarus visa-free via the international checkpoints foreign nationals show at the border crossing point

 – valid passport or another travel document,

 – ticket

 – certain amount of money equivalent to 25 Euro for each day of stay, 

– medical insurance covering the territory of Belarus with medical expenses at least 10,000 Euro.

Medical insurance may be purchased on arrival at the “Minsk National Airport”

Visa free stay in Belarus for more than 5 days should be registered at the nearest department on citizenship and migration. 

Foreign citizens who live in hotels do not need registration.

Foreign participants of the 2nd European Games from May 20 to July 10, 2019

– may use public transport and metro free of charge on the basis of accreditation cards,

– toll roads free of charge with vehicles which have technically permissible total weight of up to 3.5 tons.
