About the participation of the Ambassador in the annual National Press Day

On February 7-9, 2017 at the invitation of the Indonesian Press Association the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Indonesia Vladimir Lopato-Zagorsky visited the Indonesian province of Maluku to participate in the annual National Press Day. 

On February 9, 2017 Ambassador attended the ceremony in the city of Ambon with the participation of the President of Indonesia Joko Widodo. The event was also attended by the heads of the Indonesian Parliament, members of the Government, the commanders of the National Police and the Armed Forces and by more than twenty heads of diplomatic missions of foreign countries.

On February 8, 2017 Ambassador attended the conference on the topic “Integration of Indonesian media into the global information environment: opportunities and challenges” with the participation of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology of Indonesia Rudiantara.

In Maluku Vladimir Lopato-Zagorsky held short conversations with the members of the Indonesian Government, the commanders of the Armed Forces and representatives of the media. It was agreed to continue cooperation on the coverage of the issues of Belarus-Indonesia cooperation in the Indonesian media.
