About the visit of Ambassador V.Lopato-Zagorsky to Makassar

On February 21-23, 2017 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Indonesia V.Lopato-Zagorsky visited the city of Makassar (South Sulawesi province, Indonesia) to participate in a number of meetings.

On February 22, 2017 the Ambassador visited Hasanuddin University, where he met with Rector Professor Dwia Tina Pulubuhu, and spoke on the current state of Belarus-Indonesia bilateral relations for students and academic staff of Hasanuddin University.

On February 23, 2017 the Ambassador held a meeting with the Governor of South Sulawesi province, Shahrul Yasin Limpa. The Sides agreed to further develop trade and economic cooperation between this Indonesian province and Belarus.
 
Economic cooperation was also discussed at the meeting of the Ambassador with the Vice Chairman of South Sulawesi Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ilham Alim Bachrie.
