Ambassador of Belarus V.Lopato-Zagorsky visits the Philippines
13.01.2017On January 10-12, 2017 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Indonesia and non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of the Philippines Vladimir Lopato-Zagorsky visited the Philippines to attend official events and have a set of meetings.
On 11th of January Ambassador was present at the reception held by the President of the Philippines Mr. Rodrigo Duterte. A number of issues of Belarusian-Philippine relations were discussed with the head of the Philippine state and other Philippine officials.
At the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines the Ambassador met with the Undersecretary for Policy of the DFA Mr. Enrique A.Manalo. Joint actions were agreed to develop further cooperation between Belarus and the Philippines in various fields, as well as the establishment of the legal instruments of bilateral ties.
During his stay in the Philippines the Ambassador also met with representatives of business circles, further development of trade and economic cooperation was discussed.
