About the 3rd online seminar on trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Indonesia

The Embassy in cooperation with the National Center of Marketing of the Republic of Belarus (NCM), the Indonesian Trade, Tourism and Investment Club (ITTIC) with the support of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow continued to hold a series of online seminars.

Held on December 10, 2020 the 3rd online seminar was dedicated to establishing cooperation between Belarusian dairy companies and the Indonesian Modern Market Supply Entrepreneurs Association (AP3MI), expanding cooperation with the trading company PT. Pulau Jaya Mandiri, as well as to promote the opportunities of the digital platform export.by for Indonesian companies.
 
AP3MI, which unites more than 130 Indonesian companies, has expressed active interest in establishing cooperation with Belarusian manufacturers.
 
During the meeting, Alexey Lachimov, Counselor of the Belarusian Embassy, Valery Sadokho, NCM Director, representatives of Babushkina Krynka and Bellakt dairy companies made the presentations on the opportunies of cooperation with the Republic of Belarus.
 
The online conference was attended by 13 Belarusian companies, including OJSC Savushkin Product, OJSC Milkavita, OJSC Glubokoe Dairy Canning Plant, OJSC Turov Dairy Plant, OJSC Pruzhany Dairy Plant and others.
 
For reference: in January-October 2020, Belarusian producers exported dairy products to Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines for a total of $13.7 million USD (3.7 times increase compared to the same period in 2019); including export to Indonesia — $1 million (163% increase).
 
Taking into account the requests of the business community of the two countries, the practice of holding video seminars will be continued.
