Indonesian delegation led by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia Airlangga Hartarto visited Belarus, 8th Session of Intergovernmental Commission was held

On 15 May 2026, the Indonesian delegation led by Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia, visited Minsk.

During the visit, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Turchin met with Airlangga Hartarto, during which the parties agreed to develop trade and economic cooperation, particularly in light of the formation of a free trade area between the EAEU and Indonesia.

On the same day, the 8th Session of the Belarusian-Indonesian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, and Technical Cooperation was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Karankevich and Airlangga Hartarto. Following the meeting, a protocol was signed, formalizing specific plans to strengthen cooperation in all areas.

On 15 May, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov also met with Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia. The parties discussed trade and economic cooperation, schedule of upcoming events.
