Ambassador of Belarus to Singapore Valery Kolesnik visited Singapore
31.01.2018Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Singapore (resident in Jakarta) Valery Kolesnik visited Singapore.
On January 24, 2018 the Ambassador met with the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore H.E. Mr. Peter Tan Hai Chuan to discuss the dynamics of the development of Belarusian-Singaporean relations and interaction within international organizations.

On January 24, 2018 Valery Kolesnik met with Deputy of Privileges and Immunities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore Ms Wee Soek Yen. The practice of the appointment of honorary consuls in Singapore was discussed.

On January 26, 2018 Valery Kolesnik met with the Director-General of Europe Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore H.E. Mr Kamal Vaswani.
The Ambassador underlined the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore in shaping and promotion of the political dialogue between the countries as well as the arrangement of the political consultations in Minsk in 2017. The Ambassador thanked for the constructive cooperation between the Ministry and the Embassy of Singapore in Jakarta. Trade, economic and investment issues were also discussed.

On January 26, 2018 Valery Kolesnik paid a courtesy call on Ambassador of Russia to Singapore H.E. Mr. Andrei Tatarinov. The Sides discussed the current issues of cooperation with Singapore and the interaction between the diplomatic missions.
