President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko visits Indonesia
09.07.2026On 1 − 2 July 2026, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko paid a State Visit to the Republic of Indonesia. The Presidential aircraft landed in Jakarta escorted by Indonesian Air Force fighter jets.
On 1 July 2026, the Belarusian Head of State met with members of the Indonesian Government to discuss the implementation of joint investment projects.
On 2 July 2026, Presidents of Belarus and Indonesia Aleksandr Lukashenko and Prabowo Subianto discussed a wide range of issues of Belarus − Indonesia cooperation with a focus on economic cooperation and personnel training.
The parties reached agreements on introduction of visa-free entry for Belarusian citizens to Indonesia, as well as on the establishment of direct air service between the two countries.
On the sidelines of the event, a number of documents on cooperation in industry, culture, healthcare, accreditation, and finance were signed, as well as the Roadmap of Developing Key Areas of Cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Indonesia for 2026 − 2030 was adopted.
Ahead of the State Visit of the President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko to Indonesia, on 30 June 2026, Belarus − Indonesia Business Forum was held in Jakarta, resulting in the signing of contracts worth tens of millions of dollars, as well as inter-university Memoranda.
