About the participation of the Belarus delegation in the 10th Bali Democracy Forum

On December 7, 2017 a Belarusian delegation headed by Ambassador of Belarus to Indonesia Valery Kolesnik participated in the 10th Bali Democracy Forum in Banten province (Republic of Indonesia).

The Forum was opened by Jusuf Kalla, Vice President of Indonesia. The President of Nauru Baron Waqa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia Retno Marsudi, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Tunisia Khemaies Jhinaoui and the Secretary-General of ASEAN Le Luong Minh addressed the Forum as keynote speakers.

The theme of the event this year was «Does democracy deliver?». Representatives from 96 countries and 7 international organizations participated in the Forum.
