On 12 April, Belarusian diplomats in Jakarta participated in the ceremony dedicated to the International Day of Human Space Flight

On 12 April 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Indonesia Raman Ramanouski and staff of the Embassy of Belarus took part in the ceremony of laying flowers to the monument to the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin in Jakarta to mark the International Day of Human Space Flight.

In his speech, the Ambassador of Belarus emphasised the importance of this date for Belarusians, especially this year, when the first cosmonaut of sovereign Belarus, Maryna Vasileuskaya, made her space flight.

Raman Ramanouski highlighted the role of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in the implementation of this project, emphasised the prospects for cooperation with Russia in space exploration, and interviewed the media.
