21.03.2025On 20 March 2025, Ambassador of Belarus Raman Ramanouski gave a lecture to students of the President University (Indonesia) on the topic «Diplomatic relations between Belarus and Indonesia».
The Ambassador informed about the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus held on 26 January 2025 and the convincing victory in these elections of the incumbent Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko.
R.Ramanouski highlighted Belarus’ foreign policy priorities, its socio-economic achievements, presented the Belarusian potential in the fields of industry, agriculture, information and communication technologies, culture and tourism. The Ambassador emphasized the opportunities to study in Belarus and invited Indonesian youth to continue their education in Belarusian higher education institutions.
The Head of the diplomatic mission drew the attention of the audience to the heroism of the Belarusian people in the fight against Nazism during the Great Patriotic War and the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory in 2025.
The Ambassador informed the Indonesian students about Belarusian − Indonesian cooperation and the prospects for its development in the fields of education, science, culture and inter-regional relations. Particular emphasis was placed on the potential for trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Indonesia, including in the context of Belarus' chairmanship in the Eurasian Economic Union bodies in 2025.
