Ambassador of Belarus Raman Ramanouski visited Singapore
24.03.2025On 13 – 14 March 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Indonesia and non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Singapore Raman Ramanouski visited Singapore to attended the Diplomatic Reception hosted by the President of the Republic of Singapore.
During the contacts with the President of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan, the Parties confirmed their mutual focus on further development of relations between Belarus and Singapore in various areas.
At the meeting with Director General for Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore Hon Mun Low, the Ambassador discussed the issues on the bilateral agenda of the Belarusian-Singaporean relations and exchanged views on topical international issues.
During the meeting with Dr. Abdul Jalil, Assistant Chief Executive Officer (Operations) of the Singapore Food Agency, the Parties reviewed mechanisms for expanding cooperation between the Agency and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, as well as possibilities for mutual facilitation of access to the markets of food products.
The Ambassador of Belarus discussed with Ms Dawn Tan Ly-Ru, Chairman of the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce, promising areas for the development of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Singapore, expansion of business contacts between the two countries, mutual participation in exhibitions and business events.
